Snow Day?
Starting to look almost a little bit like it may snow around here. The mountains on the mainland have snow down to just a few hundred feet above sea level and a big old rain cloud is rolling out from the shore. The hummingbird probably sees it coming, it was just shortly after 8:00 when he was at the feeder getting something for a morning feed. Been looking around at the hummingbird web sites, and nothing much one can do for them that don’t migrate except keep your fingers crossed and fresh nectar (doesn’t go sour very fast in the cold weather though) in the feeder. Well, hi-ho, hi-ho it’s off to work I go.
