It’s back to school time, feel like taking a test? It’s an easy one for some, I missed the question about food, “All foods and beverages are safe to consume in moderation…”, too late at night I suppose and missed the reference to “All“. They say really nice things though, for 94% you get a ‘free thinker’ moniker and this blurb:
Free Thinker
Welcome to the top 5%. You’re a true free thinker and a person who is well informed about the reality in which you live. Although you may have been easily manipulated earlier in life, you eventually gained lucidity and developed a healthy sense of skepticism that you now automatically apply to your observations and experiences. You are endlessly curious about human behavior and the nature of the universe, and you have one or more lifestyle habits that most people would consider odd or unusual. You are not only of very high intelligence, you are also extremely creative in one or more areas (music, art, software development, inventing, etc.)
If you were in The Matrix, you would have taken the red pill, completed the combat training, and started fighting (and beating) agents from day one.
Your architects: You have cast off reality distortions taught to you by your parents, schooling, corporate advertising and government propaganda. You create your own beliefs based on what serves you best, without much regard for what the rest of the crowd is doing. You are guided by your own internal code of ethics (which may or may not agree with politically-correct ethical codes) rather than any pre-set system of ethics (such as from any one religion).
Isn’t that nice of them to say
Interesting web site, their article on The raw (and ugly) truth about the war on drugs got me to the Gullibility Test, but the reference to cheaper drugs in Canada with the Beaver forgets the drug companies are here too.

Still in denial about Katrina, “Officials said they did not know whether ejecting billions of gallons of foul pollutants would trigger a massive environmental disaster in the state’s wetlands”, and Bush tried to comfort two stunned women wandering their neighborhood clutching Hefty bags, looking in vain for something to salvage from the rubble of their home. He kept insisting they could find help at a Salvation Army center down the street, even after another bystander had informed him it had been destroyed.
The stock markets are doing fine though, they should be considering one of the biggest players is the private Fed and public Fed and their preferred brokerage houses. Not sure what they are going to do when the dollar value shrinks to zero, (now worth just a nickel of what it was before the Federal Reserve was invented to make a pile o’ money for bankers and stock market players), and China decides to call in their loans.

In honour of Labour Day, a cubicle worker decides it’s a good time to let one go, but what if he’s discovered to be the stinky culprit? I seem to get the best quality from Ifilms using Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player.

Think I’m going to make that new category into a static page first, with the link below the other categories. Then when clicked on, the visitor will get to the list of links for the day, and the side panel will have the addition of a different menu showing the sub categories that were created for the Follow Me.

There’s been a sea change in the attitudes of some in the press now with the present administration down south. FEMA knew storm’s potential
Dr. Max Mayfield, director of the National Hurricane Center, said Sunday that officials with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Homeland Security, including FEMA Director Mike Brown and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, listened in on electronic briefings given by his staff in advance of Hurricane Katrina slamming Louisiana and Mississippi and were advised of the storm’s potential deadly effects.
