Like most web developers, I’ve been parsing raw server logs for years using various programs to extract the information but the prettiest one yet has been the Google Analytics program. Specifically, the Geo Map Overlay to get a graphic representation of what the logs show is one of my favourites, so hello out there to the regular visitors from Dallas (USA), Casalino (Italy), La Nueva Guatemala de la Asunción (Guatemala), Santiago (Chile), Iran, Paris (France), Gentofte (Denmark), Prague (Czech Republic), Brzechów (Poland), and Kiev (Ukraine) and of course the area surrounding Vancouver, Bowen Island and Kelowna, British Columbia.
