Montebello

YayaCanada has a good run down of her experience, complete with nice big pictures showing what really happened in Montebello for the majority of the people protesting against the government and their secretive ways.

Best video seen so far is the Union leader at the line where the 10,000 petitions brought by the Council of Canadians to the event was. Three agent provocateurs attempted to incite the line of people behind the boxes of petitions, and he spotted them for what they were and tried to remove their masks. They quickly gave up and made a not so convincing three man run at the police line and were quickly hauled away with little fanfare.

Harper blew off reports of the activities by protesters. “I’ve heard it’s nothing,” he commented to reporters over his shoulder as he waited to greet the U.S. president. “A couple of hundred? It’s sad.” What is sad is how much the government of Canada is behaving just like the fascist state to the south.

  2. You are right, looking at the video again it seems he was with the C of C but the incident does not really have anything to do with the petitions in the background – have changed the post slightly.
