Coming up on the two month mark being homeless on Bowen, weather cooperating so far with only a couple days cold enough for frost patches here and there. Insurance back on the car for a few months, and finally got it started. After running out of gas and sitting for a good number of days without a warm up there was lots of dampness keeping an already bad carburetor and electrical system from cooperating. Patience paid off and to the gas station I went for a dribble of fuel and some air in the tire with the slow leak ,and all set for a couple weeks. Sooner or later going to have to fork out for a tune-up and whatever is gone funky with the electrical too.
Nice to have a day on the computer, have three web sites that need work on and was able to get a good amount of work done before the old noggin exploded. Surfing around and catching up on the news; it appears the downward economic slide is getting steeper every day for our neighbours to the south while at the same time China just keeps rocking. Back home in BC the sell off continues, and it’s politics as usual.
