The guy can sure write, have read a number of Steve Pavlina’s articles, top notch and he’s got the entrepreneurial gift of being paid to give it away, in his case the product is personal development and the monetization process is seamless. Multiple small revenue streams works for him, allowing lots of time to write and enjoy life and experiment with things like eating nothing but raw food for a month, twice. Mostly obvious stuff to ponder otherwise, but his writing style makes the apologies really click along and it is easy reading for anyone, and there’s something for everyone. I enjoyed the latest musings of a lightworker as a cell, quietly invoking the Gaia hypothesis without actually mentioning it and at the same time doing a feel good thing for those that need it, a call to action and freely given, no batteries required.

Monday, April 14th, 2008I get a new image every day from this fellow, a lot of them are from the Toronto area, most are architectural or colour based but every once in a while there is a human too, and this one is none too happy with our neighbour to the south.

Friday, April 11th, 2008Another good walk with the younger of my charges today, as suspected the trail we took yesterday down past Dave’s old campsite is part of another and had jumped on to it part way through. Guessing that one could probably circumnavigate the entire island staying mostly on the ridge tops of the coast line, this trail continued around the southeast corner of the island but kept our walk to 1-1/2 hours and never quite made it to facing directly south.
Rocket is turning out to be a really well behaved dog when not in mixed company, walking on the trail or bush whacking it he stays close enough to see each other and at the “here” command returns right away no matter how interesting it looks the other way. In the house with the other old dog and kitty, the Nothing In Life Is Free program worked as expected the first time I was here and he remembered right away the rules from a few months before.
Easy enough schedule, my usual surfing around teh interwebs for the funny pages and confirmation the rest of the world is still out there and then it’s outside along the road to chase a ball. We go until he can’t run another step it’s back inside, flops in front of the water bowl to drink out the side of his mouth, just too tired to stand up! The afternoon walk is an optional one, if the weather is okay we’re off to the races and something between an hour or two seems to be best.
