Wondering how far the story of Copenhagen and subsequent spotlight on the tar sands of Alberta will shine. It’s catching on, not sure what the answer is to actually get the tar sands shut down, but the sooner the dependency on oil for much of our lives is recognized the better. Monbiot is on the CBC with Strombo, agitprop videos are appearing on youtube, and the twitters too.

Definitely not Judge Judy, this one has about zero control of her courtroom as a detention officer with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is caught on tape swiping a document from a defence attorney’s files behind her back. He then hands the document to a deputy to make photocopies. in full view of the prosecutor and judge.
